Quarried from Cwt y Bugail in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales since 1840, the Welsh dark blue grey is a favourite amongst memorial masons.

The stunning dark blue grey slate with occasional veining is non porous which makes it resistant to water absorption and damage from the elements.

Welsh slate required little maintenance due to its durability and resistance to staining, with occasional wiping to remove dust or debris ensuring they retain their beauty for generation.
